Social Sailing Days

On designated Saturdays or bank holidays throughout the year we run Social Sailing days.  These are days where there is no official racing (unless a friendly race is requested!) Members are able to bring their families and friends down to the club as guests (for a set number of days per year) for a coffee/tea and a chat, and of course to have a go at sailing or stand-up paddleboarding should they wish!  It is a great way to enjoy a leisurely sail, meet new and existing members and their families, share ideas / sailing tips, and of course have a chat over a BBQ, lunch or cake!  

 

We also have a varied social programme for members, including regular get-togethers, committee meetings, beetle-drives, fish and chip suppers and BBQs.  These events run throughout the year (with BBQs in the summer months) and it is a lovely way to meet new people and make new friends.
